Space for you

You are ready for change.

You are ready to feel better.

I’M SO  HAPPY YOU’RE HERE

This is where we lay down our masks and let it all hang out. The dark thoughts, the ever-present anxiety, the stress.

This where we stop trying to white-knuckle our way through, and finally ask for help.

That’s why I’m happy you’re here.

Despite the fear, despite the to-do list, you are already fighting for your joy.

knowing you are enough | enjoying the simple things again | discovering your strengths

Hello, I’m Jenie

I help courageous women and mothers bring out what they are struggling with into the light, so that they can take steps toward healing and reconnect to their joy.

As a woman, I was faced with situations that I thought no one else could possibly be experiencing or understand. When I finally decided to see a counselor about the overwhelming stress and anxiety I was feeling, I began to see the power of helping others to feel supported and heard, and hopeful for a better future.

I went on to earn my Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology because I wanted to help women to see that they didn’t have to work through their struggles alone.

I believe…

  • You deserve to take precious care of yourself, 100% guilt free.
  • Our inherent strengths help aid our recovery and empower us.

That’s why I’m here. To help you discover that being a good person and taking care of yourself at the same time, is not only possible, they go hand in hand.

I’m Here To Help You…

Find The Time

Because help should be there when you need it. Let’s face it, we don’t really have a lot of time to “get away” right now.

You don’t have to sit on a couch in my office for me to help.

You can stroll with your baby while we talk about the things that are going on for you.  Baby sleeping? Let’s plan a skype call.

You will leave feeling stronger and more capable, without wondering how you will manage to find the time.

Feel Better, Faster

Support from our friends and family is so important, but sometimes, it’s just not enough to get us where we want to be.

Counseling focuses completely on you and provides you with a safe space to explore your feelings.

Unlike advice, which tells you what you should do, counseling encourages self-reflection and independent thinking, so that the results are more more impactful and longer lasting.

Fight for Your Self-Care

As women, the last thing we want to be seen as is selfish or self-indulgent. Buteverything we do, everyone we touch, is impacted by how well we take care of ourselves.

You can’t pour from an empty cup.

Taking the time to express out truest feelings and ask for help when we need it, is one of the bravest things we can do.

I’m here to give you the time and space you need, so that you can do all you do, and feel more alive while doing it.

You are not alone.

Let’s get these things out in the open, shall we?

I’m not one to shy away from a topic, nor do I think we should. Talking openly about things helps us all to know we aren’t alone and that it’s ok to ask for help when we need it.
